A host of culinary specials await at Swissôtel Merchant Court, Singapore

For a taste of the West, go for the hearty Baked Seafood Ragout with Mushroom or the succulent Roast Sliced Beef with Red Wine Sauce.

From the carving station, Dad can satiate his gargantuan appetite with the tender and luscious Roasted Herb Marinated Pork Rib with tangy Apple Cinnamon Sauce.

Die-hard fans of Peranakan classics can look forward to Nasi Kunyit (glutinous rice cooked in coconut milk and turmeric), Sambal Prawns ( prawns cooked with a spicy, piquant space made with a variety of chilli peppers with shrimp paste, fish sauce, shallot, scallion, palm sugar, lime juice and rice vinegar), Chicken Ngoh Hiang with Sweet Flour Sauce (five spice pork rolls wrapped with beancurd skin accompanied with a thick, sweet sauce), Ayam Buah Keluak (chicken braised in a thick, spicy tamarind gravy with Indonesian black nuts), Babi Pongteh (Nyonya style braised pork with fermented soy bean sauce) and Nyonya Chap Chye (Peranakan style mixed vegetable stew).

Bring the gastronomic journey to a sweet closure with Green Tea Bread and Butter Pudding, Herbal Jelly with Honey, Peanut Cream, Green Bean with Sago and Ah Balling (glutinous rice dumplings served in a sweet soup).
