Royal Brunei Airlines kicks off 2020 with Fare Sale ex Australia

Royal Brunei Airlines has kicked off 2020 with a network-wide New Year sale on flights from Australia to London, Dubai, Tokyo, Seoul, Beijing, Jakarta and Brunei, with connections to six cities on Borneo – Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, Sandakan, Bintulu, Sibu and Tawau.

Return economy fares start from $1099* per person to London,  $1019* to Dubai, $679* to Tokyo, $649* to Seoul, $599* to Beijing and $559* to Jakarta. Flights to Borneo destinations start from $599* per person return.  Business Class fares are also available.

Travel from Brisbane can occur between 9 January and 6 December 2020. Travel from Melbourne can occur between 6 January and 6 December 2020. *Special conditions apply.

The fare specials are marketed in conjunction with Royal Brunei’s industry partners Flight Centre, Consolidated Travel Group, Helloworld, Webjet, and Express Travel Group.

The New Year Sale closely follows the release of Royal Brunei’s first new brand campaign in Australia in five years -“It’s the Little Things we do that make our service special”.

Victor Sharan, Royal Brunei’s Regional Director Australasia said the sale and the brand campaign spearhead a year in which the airline will significantly raise its profile in Australasia.

“Following the inauguration of our Brisbane services in 2019, Royal Brunei now serves two Australian gateways and we are gearing up for a big year welcoming many new guests from the Australian market in 2020,” he said.

“Already we are enjoying enthusiastic support from major travel industry and airport partners in Australia and we look forward to meeting with New Zealand industry partners soon,” he said.

Royal Brunei’s services from Brisbane are operated by A320 NEO aircraft configured with
12 Business Class, 18 Preferred Economy and 120 Economy all premium leather ergonomic seats.

Royal Brunei Airlines Melbourne flights are operated with the airline’s Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft configured with 18 Business Class fully flat beds, 52 Preferred Economy and 184 Economy seats.

On both aircraft types, guests enjoy personal in-seat television with more than 1,000 on demand entertainment movies, television and music programmes.  Personal power outlets are also a feature of every seat.

In 2019, Royal Brunei joined an elite group of global airlines certified 4-Stars by the international air transport rating organisation SKYTRAX

In the same year was also awarded a 5-star airline rating by The Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX).  APEX is a network of the world’s leading airlines, suppliers and related companies committed to elevating the level of the airline passenger experience.
