In June 2020, get ready to immerse yourself in some of North America’s most spectacular wilderness with ecruising’s spectacular 21-night Cruise Tour: Rocky Mountains and Alaskan Glaciers journey.

Comprising a 12-night tour through the Rocky Mountains taking in some of the United States and Canada’s most iconic National Parks along the way, followed by a 7-night cruise through the pristine waters of British Columbia and Alaska onboard the luxurious Celebrity Millennium, this itinerary is guaranteed to impress and inspire.

Your journey begins on 7 June 2020 with 2 nights in Denver, Colorado, where you’ll have several days to explore all the sights and attractions of America’s ‘Mile High City’. Don’t miss Denver Union Station, home to some of the city’s best cafes and bars, while history buffs will enjoy a visit to the mansion of American philanthropist and famed Titanic survivor, the ‘Unsinkable’ Molly Brown.

From Denver, your journey takes in Rocky Mountain National Park in Northern Colorado, where you’ll feel like you’re on top of the world as you traverse the Trail Ridge Road, the highest paved road in the US; as well as Wyoming’s Yellowstone National Park, famed for its spectacular geysers, ancient volcanoes and iconic sites including Old Faithful, Mammoth Hot Springs and Yellowstone Canyon; and a trip along the awe-inspiring Going-to-the-Sun Road to Montana’s Glacier National Park, with its seemingly untouched forests, alpine meadows, rugged mountains and spectacular lakes.

Crossing into Canada, highlights include Banff, the country’s first national park, home to snow-capped peaks, glistening glaciers, cascading rivers and sweeping vistas; a visit to dramatic turquoise waters of Lake Louise set against the stark backdrop of Victoria Glacier; Alberta’s Jasper National Park defined by glaciers, lakes and spectacular peaks including the 11,033-ft.-high Mt. Edith Cavell; and British Columbia’s stunning Mount Robson Provincial Park, the second oldest park in British Columbia and the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies.

Next stop is a 2-night stay in Vancouver in British Columbia – and plenty of time to discover the city’s myriad sights and attractions including stunning Stanley Park and the farmers’ markets of Granville Island. Take a tour of the city’s harbour or take a ferry across the island-dotted Strait of Georgia to Vancouver Island, with its unique blend of old world charm and new world experiences including Inner Harbour and Old Town’s eclectic shops.

On 19 June 2020, prepare for the next stage of your journey – a 7-night cruise from Vancouver to Alaska onboard Celebrity Cruises’ flagship, the luxurious Millennium, revolutionised earlier this year with an extensive makeover. Your voyage begins with a day’s sailing through the complex labyrinth of fjords, bays, and lush green islands of Alaska’s Inside Passage, home to an abundance of wildlife, including orca, mountain goats, bald eagles, bears, puffins, sea otters and the occasional whales.

Further north, stopovers include Ketchikan, the ‘Salmon Capital of the World’; the Tlingit Indian-operated Icy Strait Point, home to a restored 1912 salmon cannery and museum; the Alaskan capital of Juneau; and the former gold rush town of Skagway with its charming downtown of restored 19th-century buildings.

Spend your last full day at sea sailing past the awe-inspiring Hubbard Glacier, one of Alaska’s most exciting natural treasures, before disembarking in Seward on 26 June for your transfer to Anchorage. Here, spend 2 nights discovering the charms of Alaska’s largest city and exploring nearby wilderness areas and mountains including the Chugach, Kenai and Talkeetna, before flying home on 28 June 2020.

Priced from just $8,479 per person twin share, ecruising’s 21-night Cruise Tour: Rocky Mountains and Alaskan Glaciers journey includes return international economy airfares, all accommodation and transfers as per itinerary.
