SAA Vacations introduces its 2019 Collection Brochure

South African Airways Vacations, the leisure division of South African Airways, has launched its 2019 Collection brochure, featuring a portfolio of air-inclusive vacation packages to a variety of destinations throughout Africa.

For 2019, SAA Vacations is offering over 40 value-priced packages that feature a multitude of experiences throughout Africa, including, adventure, culture, wildlife, culinary and wine tours, honeymoons and family safaris. Each package can be tailored to fit the traveler’s needs.

SAA Vacations is also offering an electronic version of the 2019 Collection brochure to make it easier and more efficient for travel agents and consumers to view the itineraries that are offered throughout Africa.

Some of the highlights of the new brochure are:

• The Affordable South Africa package, which begins with a four-night stay in Cape Town including a full-day tour of the Cape Peninsula and the Cape of Good Hope. Guests then travel to malaria-free Pilanesberg National Park for a two-night stay on a full board basis at the five-star Shepherd’s Tree Game Lodge, with morning and afternoon game drives to view Africa’s Big Five wildlife. This package starts at $3,199 (restrictions apply) per person. It includes the twice-daily game drives while on safari, in depth tours of Cape Town, daily breakfasts, meals on safari and airport transfers in South Africa.

• Affordable Botswana, which includes roundtrip flights, safaris in the Okavango Delta and Moremi Game Reserve and four-star, all-inclusive accommodations. This 10-day/seven-night package starts at $5,899 per person (restrictions apply) and provides daily game drives, bush walks and optional boat safaris.

• Introducing Ghana, which takes travelers to Accra and to visit Manhyia Palace and the Ashanti Kingdom in Kumasi. They also explore the Cape Coast, Slave Mausoleum and Cape Coast Castle, home to the infamous “Door of No Return.” The five-night package, starting at $3,399 (restrictions apply) per person, includes deluxe accommodations in Accra, Kumasi and Cape Coast; full day tours; private vehicle transportation; and ground transfers.
