Natural Selection set to open Safari House in Namibia

Natural Selection will open Safari House in Namibia on April 15. The new property is a traditional Namibian farmhouse located in the heart of the Etosha Heights Private Reserve.

The house sleeps up to six guests in three bedrooms and welcomes children of all ages. It features a pool for cooling off after dusty game drives as well as a water hole in front of the house where animals can come to drink. Meals are homemade and hearty, and a highlight is a traditional Namibian braai (barbecue) cooked in front of the guests and enjoyed sitting outside under the stars.

Safari House comes with a private guide and vehicle. Game drives are tailored to guests’ needs and interests, and flexibility is never a problem, whether guests would like to look for big game or the smallest of birds on game drives.
Dave van Smeerdijk, co-founder and director of sales and marketing of Natural Selection, said: ”As a father with a young family I love the flexibility Safari House offers. The property gives us the freedom to run a safari on our own schedule, which is what you need with little ones. Safari House is not about glamorous interiors, it’s about genuine Namibian hospitality, and personally, that’s what I choose for a holiday.’

Rates at Safari House start at approximately $1,260 per night for the house on an exclusive basis sleeping up to six people. For more information, go to
