Regent Seven Seas Cruises unveils new culinary experiences

As Regent Seven Seas Cruises prepares to sail the Seven Seas Explorer’s inaugural season in Alaska, the brand has unveiled a new collection of culinary experiences under its Epicurean Perfection program. 

The line will host three Epicurean Explorer Tours and three new Culinary Arts Kitchen classes, all themed around the cuisine of the Pacific Northwest. Tours will include a visit to a family-owned sustainable oyster and kelp farm, a catamaran sailing through a glacier-carved fjord to a sustainable wild Alaska salmon hatchery and opportunities to sample local food and attend a lunch that pairs food with craft beer. 

New classes on the ship will feature recipes from dishes in Seattle and Vancouver and instructions on how to make sustainable seafood selections. The line’s executive chef director of culinary enrichment, Kathryn Kelly, has designed a class for guests ages 6 to 16. The line is offering a promotion for children 2 to 17 years old to sail free on six select Alaska voyages for new reservations made by April 29. 

An incentive for travel advisors

The line has also launched a “Sell Three Sail Free” incentive for travel advisors who book three suites by April 30 on any of 15 eligible seven-night Alaska voyages on the Seven Seas Explorer. 

The sailings between Seward, Alaska and Vancouver must depart between June and September 2023. Advisors who do so will earn a free cruise for themselves and a guest on any of those same voyages.
