You may not have reservations for opening day at Disneyland’s highly anticipated Star Wars land, but there is still a way to feel a part of the experience: limited-edition merchandise.
But snagging that collectible may cost you sleep as well as cash, according The Arizona Republic, which is part of the USA TODAY Network.
Disney announced that a host of limited-release Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge items will be on sale May 31 on the upper floor of Star Wars Launch Bay in Tomorrowland. But if you’re planning to scoop up enough collectibles to fund your child’s college tuition 15 years from now, know this — the line starts forming at 2 a.m.
And if the past is any indication, that line will be long in a very short time.

What merch you can expect to see
While Disney didn’t specify exactly what limited-edition items will be available, among the most popular are likely to be enamel pins featuring various Star Wars characters as well as the opening-day date.
And don’t be surprised to find T-shirts, stuffed animals, action figures and assorted toys, some of which may be dated, making them that much more valuable (or so hopes the collector in all of us).
