Travel expert Mark Murphy is back on the mic with another passionate edition of the TravelPulse Podcast.
In episode 30, the TravelPulse founder sets the record straight on all-inclusive resorts following a problematic online article.
“This story could not be more wrong. For instance, it says that ‘while some luxury locations offer packages that cater to their guests’ individual interests, it is usually cheaper to book the lowest room rate and pay for your own dinners.’ If it’s an all-inclusive resort your drinks are included. We’re not talking about a semi all-inclusive. By the way, the image that they lead with is a picture of a crowded pool on a cruise ship. Although the story is about resorts,” said Murphy.
Later, Murphy dives into the ongoing Boeing 737 MAX aircraft controversy and reveals where spring break travelers can find the best deals this season.
“Look to book your travel to a college town to experience many amazing things. I was just in Boulder, Colorado last weekend. It’s getting really nice out there and the weather is improving. You can go hiking or you can do a host of really cool outdoor activities and you still have the ski areas really close by. I love the variety. You can get culture down in Denver, which is just a short hop away from Boulder,” he added.
“If the town clears out because the students leave then it’s going to be cheaper to fly in and stay there. You can also go to Madison, Wisconsin or any number of places. But try to pick towns that are anchored around colleges.”
