Saga launches all-inclusive offer on new cruise ship’s first sailing

Cruise enthusiasts could be that step closer to checking out Saga’s new ship Spirit of Adventure, as bookings for its inaugural sailing just opened!

In fact, there’s more good news as the over 50s travel firm has revealed that the ship’s first sailing will be all-inclusive.

That means your drinks and gratuities will be included in the price, alongside usual offerings such as your accommodation, food, entertainment and chauffeur service to and from the port.

There will however still be some extras, for example if you want to go on one of the optional excursions.

Departing from Dover on the 21st August 2020, Spirit of Adventure will sail across the Baltics on a 17-night journey which includes ports of call to Copenhagen, Stockholm, Tallin and Visby, before ending in Aalborg, Denmark.

You can book your stay on the Saga website, with prices from £4,704 for 17 nights (approx £256 per night), based on two people sharing the lowest available cabin grade.

The 58,250 GT vessel will be approximately 236 metres long and 31.2 metres wide, with a capability of holding up to 999 passengers.

Saga has already offered up a sneak peek of the cabins, bars and restaurants and it looks like a pretty swanky stay.

Think everything from sleek cocktail bars and elegant lounges, to three types of cabin whether you’re looking for a cosy atmosphere or want total opulence throughout your break.
